This may be the single best instance of developer communication I have ever seen. You acknowledged an issue, provided a temporary solution for the short-term, and another for preventing the same issue in the future. Just... wow.

I've been playing Sniper Elite since I first played V2 on a friend's Xbox 360 in 2013, and again when it was later part of the "Games with Gold" program on my own console. I've seen countless developers and publishers go down the drain when it comes to communicating with their playerbases, the last few years especially. Sounds cheesy, but I remember a time when crappy treatment of your players would result in backlash, not being accepted in the current environment of unplayable releases and completely game-breaking patches.

Rebellion, you guys rock for this. (Your games are great too, by the way.)

Really appreciate the support on this Goosler! We are certainly doing our best in, what we know to be, a very difficult situation for our Community. We'll keep you all posted as soon as we have more!
What a pity that I'm from Russia and can't support the game with a purchase. Because the publisher of the game forbade it. And if you have some doubts about me - see my profile.

So this is why I'm stuck on the loading screen; although after reinstalling Steam it worked again

maybe stop releasing expensive season passes with just 2 missions and all cosmetic skins . its a big turn off and why i stoped playing sniper elite 5 and why i never even bought zombie army

Thats the problem with big companies, Stuff can't be done on a whim.
Better late then never I guess.
Hope you guys manage to fix whatever is holding everyone back from getting into the game.
I have done everything suggested by community members.

Think ill wait for an actual patch as everything so far has come up empty.
And just for the sake of the 1% possibility of losing my save file or something like it.

Regardless I would still ask you guys to do better.
thx, but is it correct that when i activate this beta fix, that it downloads 38 gb? It seems a bit much a launching issue fix

It's that simple, really. Everytime update comes, bugdate comes too.

anyone with some skills in coding or programming know how this happens? im genuinly curious.
This company lost 100% of my respect when they decided to scalp the community with their season 2 greedy ass cash grab. Shame on you Rebellion.
