I had this problem with windows 11. WIndows 10 and everything works as it should.

Same issue, used to run, reformatted and now I can get this game to work. No troubleshooting steps help either. Orcs 2 & 3 run without issue

I never had an issue with Windows 11, until I did a full reformat and reinstalled all my games. Event Viewer shows a crash in one of the C++ redistributable files, but all the pre requisites have been installed.

Emailed Support about this, never received a response. Wont bother with these games any longer.

Same Problem here. Went into the gamefolder, switched the exe into compability mode (Windows 7 + 8) and checked the Administrator mode. Won't start up.

I cannot find anyway to get this to work, yet I have played the game before. Really irritating and Support just don't bother replying.

Same issue. Won't launch on my laptop, not tried on desktop yet. I imagine it won't launch on that either though, since both have similar hardware.

Desktop's 13th gen Intel + 40 series NVIDIA, laptop is 14th gen Intel + 40 series NVIDIA.

Huh, don't exactly know why. But it did launch on my desktop.

Desktop is i9-13900KF + 4090

Laptop is i9-14900HX + 4090 Mobile

So, not really sure why one it works on and not the other. I think the laptop is on a more updated W11 install though, 24H2 vs 23H2.

Strange, I had no issues with 24H2 until I did a reformat, now this game has issues

same issue ...will not work..

probably because the game is 13 yrs old and why would anyone keep it up to date with latest windows

Many old games have no issue running on the latest Windows, if the game is still sold it should work on current operating systems
