How did you manage to host it? Did you need to have your server authenticated back when the master server was still up.

I set it up the same as I did in the past. There is nothing for the server to authenticate to as they took the master server down some time ago. That is why servers do not appear in the server browser, and you can only connect directly via the console.

It is the same way for Frontlines Fuel of War. They took the master server down but you can still connect to our server via the console.

In both games, you need to enable the console and enter the above info. Our server is hosted on our dedicated box and is online 24/7. It is there for anyone to play and enjoy, should they desire to do so.

If I were not so anti piracy and I would encourage people to pirate this game since you can't even but t anymore. :-( Really sucks...

That may just be because you said you're against people acquiring this game pretty much the only way it's still available in.

Create a shortcut to your MP executable and add this to the shortcut...

+set com_allowConsole 1 +connect 64.74.97.92

You will need to enable your console if you have not already done so.

by a shortcut you mean a shortcut in steam not desktop?
and add "+set com_allowConsole 1 +connect 64.74.97.92" to launch settings?
then when console appears what do put in there?

Not really. Since the server browser no longer works, people are lazy, so no. It is too much of an effort for people to open their console and enter an IP address to play. Server is there though if people want to play.

I can still occassionally play if anybody interested. Any other servers active?

Ours in the only online server out there. Literally. Check Gametracker and you will see there is nothing there either. I had to patch the MP executable to make this work because otherwise the server needs to authenticate with their old authentication server that went offline many years ago. Without the patch, the MP server does not work.
